Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s College of Nursing Kamothe laid its foundation in November 2003. It offers graduate and post graduate programme in nursing which is recognized by the Maharashtra Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council.
M.Sc Nursing Degree Programme
The M.Sc in Nursing Programme is a post graduate programme of two years duration leading to a degree of Master of Science in Nursing, designed to enable the graduates with a Bachelor of science Degree in Nursing to acquire greater knowledge and understanding in order to function effectively as clinicians, educators and managers and to assume professional leadership.
Students who qualify for this program are required to have demonstrated a high scholastic ability in their previous educational experience. A high level of personal motivation, regular study habits and maturity are desirable, if the student has to maintain satisfactory progress throughout the nursing programme.
The Graduates have career opportunities in the hospital, Nursing Educational Institutions, community health fields, , industries etc.In India as well as abroad.
