The details pertaining to MBA department of MGM School of Health Management Studies.
Student welfare program encompasses everything the school community does to meet the personal, social and learning needs of students creates a safe, caring school environment in which students are nurtured as they learn is achieved through the total school curriculum and the way it is delivered incorporates effective discipline incorporates preventative health and social skills programs stresses the value of collaborative early intervention when problems are identified, provides ongoing educational services to support students recognises the diversity within the school community and provides programs and support which acknowledge difference and promote harmony, recognises the role that the school plays as a resource to link families with community support services provides opportunities for students to:

          - enjoy success and recognition
          - make a useful contribution to the life of the school
          - derive enjoyment from their learning

Measures for prevention of ragging at the institution level:
Ragging is totally prohibited in the institution, and anyone found guilty of ragging and / or abetting ragging, whether actively or passively, or being a part of a conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished in accordance with these regulations as well as under the provisions of any penal law for the time being in force.

Ragging juniors in any form is forbidden. If anyone is found is ragging his/her juniors, he/she can be rusticated from the Institute.

Industry interface:
Industry institute interface is promoted and facilitated through industry extension lectures in different areas of hospital/pharmaceutical management. National and international seminars / workshops / conferences / symposiums are organized to disseminate and share knowledge and developments in the area of topical and current interest in hospital/pharmaceutical management.

Faculty / staff development programmes are undertaken to impart latest skills and techniques in hospital/pharmaceutical management. Practical exposures is provided to the students in collaborations with the health industry to develop them as entrepreneur/consultant etc

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Understanding the social responsibilities MGM SHMS organies various CRM activities as follows. The college organizes health camps in collaboration with MGM Hospital Kamothe for disadvantaged sections of the society in the nearby tribal areas. The staff of the college contribute towards various community development programmes by active participations.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Health awareness walks:
The students participate in educating tribal and also make visits to orphanage for educating small children for health habit.

The institution arranges various awareness seminars on topics like Personality Development, Human Rights, Protection of Female Foetus, Nutrition, Health & Diet, Communication Skills, Communal and Social Harmony, HIV-AIDS, to enrich the values of students and teachers.

In the Blood donation camp our students have participated with proper enthusiasm and also donated blood actively.
